How to do online function?
You can do online functions with the DONGLE.Without dongle, many important special functions are not supported.

How to use the Dongle (Internet connection required)
1. Run "ABRITES Quick Start"
Click quick link icon on desktop and open ABRITES quick loader.
Click vehicle icon, an "Dongle" icon appears in the right-bottom corner of desktop (tray bar).
2.When icon appears, the Dongle software is running.
3. Connect the Dongle to computer
4. Run commander
5. If tip "connect TAG programmer" appears
Since the Dongle and TAG key programmer connect to the same one port of AVDI, you cannot use them at the same time.
When tip "connect TAG programmer" appears, you must plug out the Dongle from port and plug in TAG key programmer. After you finish programming transponder,,plug in FLY dongle as soon as possible.

Similarities:

SVDI, FVDI and VVDI (including original AVDI) ABRITES Commanders share the similar functions, including basic diagnostic, key programming, pin code reading, mileage correction, airbag reset etc.

Differences:

Activation
FVDI and VVDI software: no need activation,

SVDI software contains: VW/Audi software, BMW commander software and tag key tool software, BMW Commander Software needs activation. Please send SVDI abrites commander serial number to seller for activation.

When obtaining authorization, operate by following the next steps:
Step 1. Connect the Softdog to FVDI2. Do not connect Softdog to the computer, otherwise the Softdog green light or red light will on, and result in authorization fail.
Step 2. Use USB cable to connect FVDI2 and the computer, but do not connect FVDI2 to the car. Wait until FVDI2 green light on and Softdog red light on, you succeed getting authorization. If FVDI2 red light on or Softdog green light on, repeat the above steps.

After get authorization for FVDI2, follow the next steps to connect.
Step 1. Connect the Softdog to FVDI2 (Note: do not connect Softdog to the computer).
Step 2. Use USB cable to connect FVDI2 and the computer. Wait until FVDI2 green light on and Softdog red light on, connect Softdog USB cable to the computer. During the procedure, the Softdog red light keeps on (Note: do not connect FVDI2 to the car)
